Inventornest — From Idea to Manufactured Product

Inventor Nest takes a founder’s product idea from research to manufacture, covering PCB design, enclosure design, CAD and rapid prototyping. Their buyers are entrepreneurs who have an idea but no engineering background, so the site has to make an unfamiliar, expensive process feel navigable and safe to start.

The challenge

  • Prospects don’t know the vocabulary. They know their idea, not “PCB assembly up to 16 layers”
  • A high value engagement means trust has to be built before any enquiry
  • Founders are protective of their concepts, so IP and confidentiality concerns block the first conversation
  • Four distinct service lines needing individual explanation without a wall of text

What we built

  • Dark technical design with rendered circuit and prototype imagery signalling engineering capability
  • Hero with two calls to action, book a consultation or request a quote, plus a quick link straight into recent projects
  • Service carousel framed as “What would you like to get done?”, meeting founders in their own language rather than leading with engineering terms
  • Case study carousel pairing each project with the disciplines used and a client quote
  • Differentiators block on dark background covering NDA and confidentiality, secure payment, one stop service and certification standards, each with its own action link
  • Founder led consultation offer with a named face and photograph attached
  • Numbered process section walking through the full engagement from start to finish
  • Testimonial slider with video options, project request CTA, and an insights section for founder education articles
  • Newsletter capture and full responsive build

Trust architecture

The site is built around one specific objection, a founder handing over an unprotected idea. NDA signing is surfaced as a first class action rather than a line in the terms, payment security sits alongside it, and the consultation is attached to a named engineer rather than a generic form. The first step feels like talking to a person, not submitting a lead.
