Travan is a Pakistani tour operator handling both international and domestic travellers, with team members inside and outside the country. Its audiences arrive with opposite starting points. Foreign visitors need reassurance before inspiration. Local travellers need inspiration before logistics. The site had to serve both without splitting into two.
The challenge
- A destination many international travellers have concerns about, so safety and credibility have to be established early
- Two audiences, inbound international and domestic, with different anxieties and different reasons to book
- Three tour types, sightseeing, adventure and pilgrimage, that attract entirely separate travellers
- Most enquiries end in a customised itinerary, so a fixed package catalogue alone would not convert
- Secondary revenue streams, corporate travel and an affiliate programme, needing space without cluttering the page
What we built
- Warm cream and terracotta palette with wide landscape photography, letting the country do the selling
- Full width hero over mountain imagery with two routes in, explore Pakistan or tailor your own plan
- Corporate client logo strip directly under the introduction, placing recognised brands ahead of any sales copy
- Why Travan accordion covering local expertise, safety, tailored plans, peace of mind and personalised experience
- Explore by Destination carousel organised by region
- Explore by Seasons selector for summer, winter, autumn and spring, letting travellers plan around when they can go
- Video band with a full width play trigger
- Three separate tour carousels for sightseeing, adventure and pilgrimage, each card carrying duration, locations, category tags and a detail link
- Tailored holiday call to action band inviting a custom itinerary request
- Testimonial section over mountain photography
- Affiliate and referral programme block for partners and returning travellers
- Corporate portfolio grid showing the full client roster, with a route into corporate travel
- Journal section for destination guides and travel advice
- Refer to earn credits capture in the footer, alongside account, booking and policy links
Dual audience structure
Credibility loads first and inspiration follows. Corporate logos and the safety accordion sit above the tour catalogues, so an international visitor who arrived uncertain gets reassurance before being asked to imagine the trip. Domestic travellers scroll past that in seconds and land in the seasonal and regional discovery sections, which is exactly where they want to start. Both routes converge on the same tailored plan request.
Tour catalogue
Three tour types are kept in separate carousels rather than a mixed grid, because a pilgrimage traveller and a K2 base camp trekker are not the same customer. Each card carries the practical details that decide the click, duration, region and category, with the full itinerary on its own page.
Results
A site that reassures first time international visitors and inspires domestic travellers in the same scroll, with every route ending in a tailored itinerary request.
